Privacy Commitment: Lib Life protects player privacy. We never sell your personal data. We use industry-standard PBKDF2 encryption for authentication and retain only data necessary to power multiplayer gameplay and reconcile carrier payments.

1. Who We Are

Lib Life is developed and operated by the Lib Life Engineering Team headquartered in Monrovia, Liberia. This Privacy Policy governs our collection, processing, and protection of information across our web application and connected online services.

2. Information We Collect

Payment Reconciliation	Unique payment reference code (`LL-XXXXXX`), carrier transaction ID (MTN MoMo or Orange Money), timestamp, amount.	Crediting purchased in-game currency packages, accounting reconciliation, and fraud prevention.
Technical & Session Data	IP address (anonymized for rate-limiting), browser user agent, session cookie (`ll_session`).	DDoS protection, bot prevention, and maintaining authenticated session state.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect:

Real-world government identification numbers or passports.
Bank account routing details or credit card PIN numbers (all payments occur outside our servers via carrier USSD / Mobile Money).
Precise real-world GPS tracking coordinates (your location in Lib Life is purely in-game within Monrovia).

4. Storage, Security & Encryption

We enforce strict security controls across our infrastructure:

Passphrase Security: Passwords are never stored in plain text. We utilize salted PBKDF2 hashing with high iteration counts.
Transport Layer Security: All client-to-server traffic is encrypted using modern TLS (HTTPS/WSS) with HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS).
Cookie Hardening: Authentication cookies are served with HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax attributes to neutralize cross-site scripting (XSS) and cross-site request forgery (CSRF).

5. Data Retention & Erasure

Active Accounts: Gameplay data and character inventories are retained for the active lifetime of your account.
Payment Ledgers: Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in compliance with financial recordkeeping regulations.
Account Deletion: You have the right to request full erasure of your account. Upon request, your account credentials and personal profile will be deleted within 30 days. Contact support@lib-life.com with the subject "Data Erasure Request".

We use essential cookies strictly required to keep you logged in and prevent session hijacking. With your explicit consent, we may gather anonymized gameplay metrics to balance city job payouts. Please read our dedicated Cookie Policy for complete details.
